Interior Designer/Construction Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Interior Designer/Construction Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design and construction, with a focus on creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. This role requires a high level of creativity, technical expertise, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with clients to determine project requirements and objectives.
2. Create design concepts and space plans that meet the client's needs and budget.
3. Produce detailed drawings and specifications for construction and installation.
4. Select materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures to be used in the project.
5. Coordinate and oversee the construction process, ensuring that designs are implemented accurately and to the highest quality standards.
6. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
7. Communicate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in interior design and construction.
9. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in interior design and construction, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects.
3. Strong technical skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software.
4. Excellent knowledge of construction materials, finishes, and building codes.
5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
7. Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
8. Ability to problem-solve and think creatively.
9. Knowledge of sustainable design principles is a plus.
