JOB TITLE: Project Director
DEPARTMENT: Software Development
REPORTS TO: AVP/VP/SVP
PURPOSE:
A Project Director provides the consistency needed to see software projects through from start to finish. With a blend of technical knowledge and leadership skills, they oversee both the product being developed and the individuals involved in the work. Acting as a reliable source of information, software project managers facilitate communication among all stakeholders. Project Directors often act as intermediaries, bridging the gap between client requirements and technical teams' needs. Additionally, Project Directors responsible for providing regular status reports to keep all interested parties informed and involved in the project.
