1. Prepares examination rooms for patient examinations.
2. Monitors patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures.
3. Uses safety measures and protection devices to ensure the safety of patients and team members.
4. Operates Ultrasound equipment to produce proper images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
5. Produces diagnostic images, reports important information to the Physician, and updates patients' records.
1. License of professional practice at the origin of graduation.
2. MOPH license from the State of Qatar through Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP).
Education:
Minimum requirement: 3 years diploma in radiology technology, medical radiology or diagnostic medical ultrasound from an accredited academic institution or Bachelor's degree in radiology technology, medical radiology or diagnostic medical ultrasound from an accredited academic institution
Preferred requirement: Completing a National licensure examination from an internationally recognized licensing body.
Experience:
Minimum requirement: Two (2) years of clinical imaging experience in a recognized Hospital/Healthcare facility. Preferred requirement: Five (5) years of clinical imaging experience in a recognized Hospital/Healthcare facility.
Knowledge:
1. Knowledge of ultrasound practices, cleanliness and infection control policies, hospital, and local regulations.
2. Good analytical abilities and technical skills.
3. Good organizational, time management, and attention to detail.
Languages:
Minimum Languages: English
Preferred Languages: Arabic and a good level of spoken English and adequate written English skills
