Job Description: Test Manager

Position: Test Manager

Location: Onsite

 

Role Summary:

As a Test Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products throughout the development lifecycle. You will be responsible for leading and managing the testing team, implementing testing processes, and assuring the quality of deliverables. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of mobile app testing, user experience assurance, and performance assurance.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Management:

  - Lead and manage the testing team, providing guidance, mentoring, and support.

  - Foster a collaborative and high-performing testing team environment.

 

2. Testing Strategy and Planning:

  - Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies and plans.

  - Collaborate with project stakeholders to define testing scope, goals, and deliverables.

 

3. Quality Assurance:

  - Ensure that quality is maintained at every phase of the development lifecycle.

  - Implement and enforce quality assurance standards and processes.

 

4. Mobile App Testing:

  - Possess in-depth knowledge of mobile app testing methodologies and best practices.

  - Oversee the testing of mobile applications across various platforms and devices.

 

5. User Experience Assurance:

  - Collaborate with UX/UI teams to assure the user experience meets quality standards.

  - Conduct usability testing and provide feedback for improvements.

 

6. Performance Assurance:

  - Develop and execute performance testing strategies to ensure optimal system performance.

  - Identify and address performance bottlenecks and issues.

 

7. Test Automation:

  - Evaluate, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks to improve efficiency.

  - Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

 

8. Reporting and Communication:

  - Provide regular status reports to project stakeholders.

  - Effectively communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to the project team.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Proven experience in a Test Manager or similar role.

- Strong knowledge of mobile app testing, user experience assurance, and performance assurance.

- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
