Waste Management Expert

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Engineer with expertise in waste management to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and managing waste management projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field required. PhD preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in environmental engineering, with a focus on waste management.
• Strong knowledge of waste management principles, regulations, and technologies, with experience in solid waste, hazardous waste, and/or wastewater management.
• Proven experience in waste management efficiency, including the development and implementation of waste reduction strategies, recycling programs, and resource recovery initiatives.
• Demonstrated expertise in different waste collection strategies, such as source separation, single-stream recycling, and curbside pickup, to optimize waste diversion and minimize landfill disposal.
• Proficiency in various waste disposal methodologies, including landfilling, composting, anaerobic digestion, and waste-to-energy technologies, with a focus on environmental sustainability and cost-effectiveness.
• Experience working with a wide range of waste types, including municipal solid waste, industrial waste, hazardous waste, and electronic waste (e-waste), and implementing tailored solutions for each waste stream.
