The E-commerce Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and revenue for our online retail platform in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in e-commerce sales (Amazon...etc) with experience in managing online marketplaces and driving customer acquisition. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and execute sales strategies, build and maintain relationships with key partners, and analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities. The E-commerce Sales Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of sales representatives, providing coaching and guidance to ensure sales targets are met. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for the e-commerce platform
  2. Manage and grow relationships with key partners, including online marketplaces and third-party vendors
  3. Analyze market trends and customer behavior to identify new business opportunities
  4. Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  5. Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching and guidance to drive performance
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to optimize sales processes and customer experience
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in e-commerce sales

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in e-commerce sales, preferably in the UAE market
  2. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  3. Strong understanding of online marketplaces and the e-commerce landscape
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key partners
  5. Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team
  6. Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze data and market trends to inform sales strategies
  7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to overcome challenges and adapt to changing market conditions
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
