  • The Financial Planning Specialist is responsible deliver value added analysis in monthly executive packs and ad hoc MI analytics which highlights revenue / cost drivers, balance sheet matrices, margin analysis, peer analysis and overview of overall business performance.
  • Financial Planning Specialist is also responsible to prepare the annual budget and quarterly forecasts of the bank in close coordination with various businesses and support teams.
  • Prepare monthly insights on financial performance towards better evaluation of business performance in EXCO presentations, including but not limited to balance sheet analysis, yield analysis, P&L analysis, and key ratios with commentary on drivers.
  • Support the preparation of analytical reports and presentations for Board of Directors and other senior management meetings by ensuring they are insightful and key strategic themes get highlighted.
  •  Support in preparation and communication of top-down strategic guidance for annual planning and regular forecasting process by applying Bank’s strategic and financial priorities to each area of the business.
  •  Prepare and circulate daily reports on cash, liquidity and deposits position to Senior Management Team and highlight any risk areas.
  •  Provide detailed analytics around capital and liquidity ratios, Net Profit Margin including impact of macro-economic factors as well as business performance.
  •  Provide detailed analytical review of forward-looking scenarios, business proposals for products, Capex, Opex etc.
  •  Perform adhoc analysis based on internal or external data sources that delivers relevant strategic or financial insight for the bank.
  •  Develop an internal network within the bank and with vendor managing Core banking system to leverage for information to inform strategic and financial analysis.
  •  Ensure compliance with internal governance controls and create a work environment conducive to development of team’s potential.
  • Provide data to ALCO consultant based on agreed formats and support in preparing monthly ALCO pack in collaboration other team members and departments.
