We are hiring a Lead DevOps Engineer to join a premier enterprise organization in Dubai. You will define and oversee platform engineering practices for a premier data and technology organisation.

Our client is building a modern data platform and needs an experienced leader to establish high standards for platform engineering. You will work with advanced technology setups, bridging the gap between security, infrastructure, and data teams.

You will lead the design and operation of container platforms in hybrid and local environments. In addition to technical ownership, you will mentor team members and uplift overall engineering capabilities.

Discover the Responsibilities

• Establish standards for deployment pipelines and infrastructure automation.

  
  

• Design and run Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters in local and cloud systems.

  
  

• Build observability frameworks to monitor system health and handle incidents.

  
  

• Partner with security and infrastructure teams to protect data and manage access rights.

  
  

• Optimize platform performance and manage infrastructure costs.

  
  

• Coach and guide team members to improve automation and reliability practices.
  

  
  

Discover the Requirements

• Ten plus years of experience in engineering roles, with five or more years leading platform or operations teams.

  
  

• Excellent hands on knowledge of Kubernetes or OpenShift cluster management.

  
  

• Strong experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps, and GitHub actions.

  
  

• Knowledge of hybrid infrastructure setups involving cloud services and local storage.

  
  

• A university degree in computer science or a related field.

  
  

• Great communication skills and the ability to collaborate across different business departments.
