Job Summary
The Solar Technician will be responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of solar systems. This role requires technical expertise, a strong understanding of solar, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Job Description
Install solar panels, inverters, and other solar equipment on residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
Ensure all installations comply with local codes and standards.
Perform routine maintenance on solar power systems to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and repair solar energy system issues, including electrical and mechanical components.
Replace damaged or malfunctioning components as needed.
Conduct quality checks and system tests to ensure installations meet performance standards.
Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to complete projects efficiently.
Participate in training sessions to stay updated on the latest solar technology and installation practices.
Support team members and share knowledge to promote continuous improvement.
