Position Summary


A highly skilled and experienced Regional Facilities Manager to oversee and manage facilities operations in Egypt, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Qatar, and Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of facilities across multiple locations within the region. The successful candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, a deep understanding of local regulations and cultural nuances, and the ability to lead and coordinate diverse teams.


Key Responsibilities


  • Strategic Facilities Management:
    • Develop and implement strategic facilities management plans aligned with the overall business objectives.
    • Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and standards in Egypt, KSA, Qatar, and Bahrain.
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Oversee day-to-day facilities operations, including maintenance, security, cleaning, and other related services.
    • Implement best practices to optimize facility performance and efficiency.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
    • Negotiate contracts, review service level agreements, and monitor vendor performance.
  • Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage the facilities budget for the region, ensuring cost-effective operations.
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and motivate a diverse team of facility management professionals across different locations.
    • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of employee performance.
  • Health and Safety Compliance:
    • Ensure facilities comply with health and safety regulations and implement preventive measures.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for staff.
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee facility-related projects, renovations, and expansions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Communication and Reporting:
    • Regularly communicate with key stakeholders, providing updates on facilities performance, challenges, and resolutions.
    • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on facilities management activities.

Desired Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree/ Business Administration or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in facilities management, with a track record of managing facilities across multiple countries.
  • In-depth knowledge of local regulations, building codes, and cultural considerations in Egypt, KSA, Qatar, and Bahrain.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Budgeting and financial management experience.
  • Project management skills with a focus on delivering results.

Other Capabilities


  • Master's degree is a plus.
  • Any certification related to Facilities
  • Event Management & MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events/Exhibition) Experience
  • Travel Desk Management
