700Apps is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Proposal Writer to join our team. As a Technical Proposal Writer, you will be responsible for crafting compelling proposals that clearly articulate our technical solutions to potential clients. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and product management, you will gather and analyze technical requirements and translate them into well-structured and persuasive proposals. Your ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively will be instrumental in winning new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product management teams to understand project requirements and technical solutions Gather and analyze technical information, including system specifications, architectural diagrams, and project implementation details Write comprehensive technical proposals that clearly outline project scope, deliverables, timelines, and pricing Develop proposal templates, boilerplate content, and reusable technical content libraries Tailor proposals to meet specific client needs, focusing on showcasing the value and benefits of our technical solutions Ensure proposals are compliant with client requirements, industry standards, and company policies Coordinate and manage proposal review and approval processes Edit and proofread proposals to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in proposal writing and technical solution documentation

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science or Engineering Proven experience of +3 years as a Technical Proposal Writer in a technical or software-based environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex technical concepts Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong organizational and project management skills Attention to detail and ability to create accurate and compelling proposals Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management tools Experience with proposal development processes and best practices Knowledge of software development methodologies, technologies, and solutions Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
