The Customer Reliability Engineer Role

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:
In this role, you will be a critical driver in shifting our entire customer operations ecosystem from a reactive model to a proactive, automated powerhouse. Your work will directly scale our efficiency and drastically improve the customer experience.
  • Championing Proactive Reliability means you will build predictive monitoring and automated resolution workflows to stop issues before they happen, allowing our users to scale confidently and independently.

  • Bridging the Engineering Gap allows you to foster seamless collaboration across Product, SRE, and Support teams, translating complex observability data into clear technical guidance that elevates the entire organization's capabilities.

  • Solving the Break-Fix Cycle makes it your core mission to resolve the challenge of operational noise, transforming raw telemetry into meaningful metrics that protect system health and build lasting customer trust.

We’re looking for a teammate with:

  • 3+ years in Technical Support, BI Development, Customer Operations, Customer Success Engineering, or other data-focused roles.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience working in a microservices environment
  • Experience working with data systems or pipelines (e.g., Kafka, Snowflake, data lakes)
  • Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and incident management processes
  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of ownership, proactivity, and attention to detail
  • Basic scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation or data manipulation.
  • Ability to design and maintain data models, log pipelines, and internal decision-making databases.
