Job description

What you´ll do
  • Drive a zero incident/accident culture by ensuring adherence to safety guidelines, SOPs, permits, and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and company SHE policies during shift operations
  • Conduct SHE audits, inspections, and compliance checks across the plant
  • Deliver SHE training programs to employees during shifts
  • Ensure proper usage and maintenance of PPE and safety equipment (hydrants, sprinklers, alarms, safety showers, etc.)
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental norms including effluent and waste management
  • Oversee occupational health compliance during operations
  • Drive and execute SHE campaigns and awareness initiatives
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), PSSR, JSA, and risk assessments
  • Support implementation of SHE strategy, standards, and procedures
  • Track and report SHE KPIs and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Manufacturing, Engineering, HR, QA, etc.) and external stakeholders (contractors, statutory authorities)


What makes you a good fit
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering
  • Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) – Mandatory
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)
  • Experience in hazardous chemical, paints, pharma, or oil & gas industries preferred
  • Strong knowledge of SHE standards, statutory compliance, and manufacturing processes
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
