Job Description

Overall Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage the UI/UX design team at Synechron to deliver innovative, user-centered designs that meet business and customer requirements.
  • Define and execute the design vision for projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with product management, development, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide design recommendations that drive customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Manage the development and delivery of wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity visual designs.
  • Ensure that all designs are accessible, usable, and meet industry standards for quality and performance.

Skills:


  • UX design tools, Figma, Sketch, InVision, and/or other UX prototyping software
  • At least 3 years of experience in UX and UI required; strong understanding of user centered design principles and processes.
  • Familiarity working in lean/agile product development environment.
  • Fluency in current industry UX design tools, Figma, Sketch, InVision, and/or other UX prototyping software
  • Ability to simplify and turn complex interactions into intuitive user experiences and to clearly communicate how individual journeys align/don’t align to user and business goals.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to work through complex business and operational problems.
  • Excellent influencing/communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfort and experience in working with both business and technology groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build strong Blue Box linkages at all organizational levels.
  • Global role with flexibility in work hours required

Experience:


  • At least 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs for web and mobile applications.
  • Experience leading and managing design teams.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Day-to-Day Activities:


  • Lead the design team and manage project design deliverables.
  • Collaborate with product management, development, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide design recommendations.
  • Conduct user research and analyze customer data to inform design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity visual designs.
  • Ensure that all designs are accessible, usable, and meet industry standards for quality and performance.
  • Manage the design review process and provide constructive feedback to designers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies, and share that knowledge with the team.

Qualification:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
