Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Developer to join our team in Kuwait. As an Application Support Developer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for our applications, ensuring their smooth operation and optimal performance. You will work closely with our development team to identify and resolve issues, as well as implement enhancements and updates to our applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for problem-solving. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for our applications, including investigating and resolving issues reported by users.
  2. Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve software bugs and performance bottlenecks.
  3. Develop and maintain scripts and tools for monitoring and managing application performance and availability.
  4. Implement enhancements and updates to our applications, including developing and testing new features.
  5. Document technical procedures and user guides for our applications.
  6. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software development and application support.
  8. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and quality assurance, to ensure the successful delivery of our applications.
  9. Provide training and support to end-users on the effective use of our applications.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in application support and development.
  2. Strong knowledge of software development principles and methodologies.
  3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
  4. Experience with relational databases and SQL.
  5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
  9. Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Skills
