Purpose:
Plan execute, and document pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation system to ensure safe and reliable handover to Operations
Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Preparation
• Develop Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation commissioning procedures, check-sheets, and test packs
• Review system design and construction status to confirm readiness for commissioning
Testing & Execution
• Lead system flushing, leak testing, loop checks, and functional testing of equipment
• Perform safety system verification including ESD, F&G, and Cause & Effect testing
Coordination & Handover
• Coordinate with construction, vendors, and Operations to close punch lists
• Compile records and complete handover dossiers for Ready For Start-Up
HSSE & Compliance
• Enforce Permit-to-Work and SIMOPS requirements during all activities
• Ensure full compliance with project HSSE standards and procedures
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical / Process / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering
Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas site construction including 5 years in a similar position
Proven experience with KOC / KNPC / KIPIC /JO projects
