Consultant of Cardiology

As the Consultant of Cardiology at Taiba Hospital, you will be responsible to provide care for your patients in the field of Interventional cardiology includes numerous specialized treatments, procedures, diagnostic tools, therapies, and maintaining a high-level of professional performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consulting with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns.
• Perform exercise tests, diagnostic image tests, and cardiac catheterizations.
• Perform and interpret echocardiogram results
• Interpreting test results to determine how effectively the heart and/or cardiovascular system is functioning.
• Analysis of patient test results.
• Perform interventional procedures like:
• Coronary Angiograms and/or Cardiac Catheterization including Left Heart and/or Right Heart Catheterizations.
• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI).
• Balloon Angioplasty.
• Stent Implantation.
• Consult with surgeons on patient procedures.
• Conduct Emergency and Rescue Procedures in the hospital for patients coming in with Acute Coronary Syndrome and/or cardiogenic shock.
• Provides consultation requested by other medical specialties in the field of Cardiology.
• Assessment and referral of appropriate patients under your medical care to other appropriate medical facilities.
• Supervision of duties of assigned junior staff.
