The HR Manager with a focus on Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading the recruitment and talent acquisition efforts within the organization. This role plays a pivotal part in attracting, assessing, and selecting top talent to support the company's goals and objectives.
Additionally, the HR Manager oversees various HR functions to ensure compliance and best practices are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies and plans to meet the organization's staffing needs.
- Source and identify potential candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.
- Conduct interviews, assessments, and reference checks to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the organization.
- Manage the entire recruitment process from posting job openings to extending job offers.
- Maintain and improve the organization's employer brand to attract top talent.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and expectations.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
- Compliance and Policy Implementation:
- Ensure all recruitment and HR activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Train and educate employees on HR policies and procedures.
- Employee Onboarding:
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Coordinate orientation and training programs.
- Employee Relations:
- Handle employee inquiries and complaints, fostering a positive work environment.
- Mediate and resolve employee disputes when necessary.
- Performance Management:
- Support the performance appraisal process and assist in developing improvement plans.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
- HR Data and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate HR records and generate relevant reports.
- Use HR metrics and data to provide insights and make data-driven decisions.
- Benefits and Compensation:
- Administer and communicate employee benefits programs.
- Assist in compensation analysis and salary reviews.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition and HR management.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools.
