Job Description
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior Developer-Business Systems, who will be responsible for maintaining existing Oracle eBusiness Suite applications. Accountable for a wide breadth of technical skills across business applications and technologies and also responsible for Information Security.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Maintaining existing Oracle eBusiness Suite applications
- Responsible for inception, technical design, development, testing, and delivery of new solutions in Oracle Applications
- Use current change control standards and SDLC to successfully implement solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Oracle applications with other enterprise tools and applications.
- Take ownership and resolve service requests within SLA timelines.
- Lead the planning and implementation of application and technology updates and upgrades.
- Ensure data integrity and security across Oracle platforms.
- Document technical processes and develop user guides for new applications.
- Protects assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference
- Executes particular security processes or activities
- Reports security events or potential events or other security risks to the organization
- Implements and acts in accordance with the organization's information security policies
- Accountable for reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Responsible for writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Accountable for effectively presenting information and responding to questions from managers.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate, discuss, and negotiate with all levels of technical and professional staff, senior IT management, the company leadership, and all sectors of the user community.
- Ensures all Company and Department policies and procedures are followed
- Follows IT standards & defined processes and policies for workflow using a systematic approach, to complete assigned tasks.
- Ensures a positive service image in the user community.
- Manages several projects concurrently.
- Responsible for juggling multiple priorities within constantly changing technical and support requirements.
- Demonstrates experience in working across and in a Global organization
- Accountable for a wide breadth of technical skills across business applications and technologies:
- Application Development: Reports, BI publisher, Application APIs, Oracle Forms, Forms personalization (RICEF objects)
- Application Technology: SQL, PL/SQL, Java, Oracle Alerts, Oracle Business Events, Workflow, Web ADI, OAF, APEX, VBCS
- Integration Technologies: Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Integration SOA Gateway, Rest APIs, familiar with XML, XSLT, and JSON data formats.
- Reporting and analytics with Oracle BI, Power BI
- Expected to work in a virtual team environment across global time zones
- Processes any cross-training as mandated by the line
- Alternates for colleagues when requested by the management
- Performs any duty assigned by the line.
