Job Description

4 years of demonstrated expert experience in social media campaigns and digital marketing or any equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position

Develop a marketing communication plan for Gandour to include objectives, strategies, plans and budgets.

Manage and execute digital media calendar, devise and spearhead online campaigns that advance the retention and acquisition to better engage Gandour's customers.

Liaise with the creative team/ agencies for all media related tasks and provide monthly updates to the management. 

Manage all public relations activities whether internal or external in coordination with the Marketing Manager. Take the lead in events, corporate activities, sponsorships, complaints and crisis management.

Direct the process of internal communication with team; whether in branding or releases (collect news from team, write/ proofread content, publish to associates).

Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in traditional and social media channels

Develop a network of social media influencers & build strong relationships with them to grow media presence and brands exposure

Provide strategic and content writing skills to support PR and social media. Serve as the content creator for blogs, PR and social media channels to communicate brands' and products' features and content on digital platforms.

Provide expert experience in integrating social media with external communication strategies.

Develop blog communications strategy and project manage blog content calendar.

Develop benchmarks for assessing social media campaign success, and regularly analyze, review, and report on strategies.

Develop Gandour online presence whether on Gandour platforms or others (Nok Nok & others)

     Develop, manage and maintain the digital, social media and PR          budget and billing of related vendors

Manage new and existing initiatives through leading the weekly delivery team meetings.

Plan and execute new product launches in coordination with team members. Set distribution and sales objectives, monitor and track performance for one full cycle. Recommend improvement action steps when needed.

Develop and present detailed retail audit analysis reports for new products, Gandour's vs. competition as well as new products launched by competition. Propose recommended actions and potential improvements.

Conduct competitive pricing, packaging, and placement surveys for the competition of existing brands as well as scoping potential segments that the company may penetrate.

Monitor sales performance of all NPLs from retail audit in comparison to the actual sales to identify suitable action if deviations or coverage issues are present.

Maintain continuous and timely update on the NPLs performance health through analyzing internal sales data, retail audits and other third party material as well as market visits.

Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis of NPLs covering consumer behavior, brand performance, and competitors' performance to assist the company in correctly assessing the health of the category and overall brand.

Identify new developments and improvement opportunities required in existing products to maintain competiveness through market analysis reports.

Track analyze and report on customers' trend / behavior and competitors' activities by brand through field visits and through timely report

Conduct regular visits to assigned market to evaluate NPLs performance and monitor the execution of all aspects related to the category such as distribution, pricing, and promotional activities.

Maintain close coordination with all concerned departments with regards to the NPLs projects and plans.
