Job Description

  • You will be expected to stay informed about changes in tax and labor laws that may impact payroll processes, and ensure that payroll systems and practices are consistently aligned with the latest legislative requirements.
  • Staying informed about any changes in tax and labor laws that may impact payroll processes and ensuring that payroll systems and practices remain consistently aligned with the latest legislative requirements constitute a vital responsibility of the Payroll Officer.
  • Working hand in hand with the HR department, the Payroll Officer will actively participate in the establishment of payroll-related protocols and processes, and offer extensive support in addressing any inquiries or issues related to payroll that employees may have.
  • Engaging in close collaboration with the HR department, the Payroll Officer will play an instrumental role in introducing and maintaining payroll-related policies and procedures, and providing extensive support in resolving payroll-related queries and concerns raised by employees.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring that all payroll information is meticulously processed, reviewed, and reported in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering seamless teamwork with peers, HR staff, and external partners to handle employee queries, rectify payment discrepancies, and offer guidance on payroll issues.
  • Experienced in leveraging multiple payroll software tools, showcasing in-depth understanding of payroll procedures, encompassing precise data input, accurate wage computations, and meticulous management of tax deductions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal expertise, promoting smooth coordination with team members, HR representatives, and external associates to address employee questions, rectify payment inconsistencies, and provide counsel on payroll affairs.
