Our company is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Credit Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Credit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of credit management, including assessing creditworthiness, setting credit limits, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit analysis, risk assessment, and collections, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement effective credit policies and procedures to minimize the risk of non-payment and bad debt.
2. Analyze credit applications and financial statements to assess the creditworthiness of potential customers.
3. Set appropriate credit limits based on the analysis of customer creditworthiness.
4. Monitor credit limits and ensure that they are adjusted as necessary.
5. Review and evaluate customer credit files to identify high-risk accounts and take appropriate actions.
6. Manage the collection process and ensure timely and efficient collection of outstanding debts.
7. Negotiate payment plans with delinquent customers and monitor their adherence to the agreed-upon terms.
8. Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to resolve credit-related issues and disputes.
9. Prepare regular reports on credit and collections activities and provide recommendations for improvement.
10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in credit management.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum of 12 years of experience in credit management, preferably in a similar industry.
2. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
3. Strong knowledge of credit analysis techniques and risk assessment methodologies.
4. Experience in developing and implementing credit policies and procedures.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
6. Ability to handle difficult conversations and resolve conflicts.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
10. Proficiency in using credit management software and tools.
