Job Description

A reputable private sector company in Riyadh is seeking a highly skilled and experienced مدير مشتريات to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement management and a strong understanding of the procurement process. The مدير مشتريات will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the procurement function, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships. This is a critical role within our organization, and the successful candidate will have exceptional leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency
  2. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships
  3. Ensure that all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations
  4. Monitor market trends and developments to identify potential opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and develop strategies to meet those needs
  6. Provide leadership and guidance to the procurement team, including training and development opportunities
  7. Manage the procurement budget and track expenses to ensure cost control
  8. Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers and implement corrective actions as necessary
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement management
  2. Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
  3. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  5. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  7. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
  9. Fluent in Arabic and English
