The BIM Coordinator's role can be divided into four main roles, abbreviated as EPIC: Educator, Planner, Implementer, and Coordinator. The Educator is responsible for training the project team and management in the application of tools used in the project or company. The Planner is involved in planning, analyzing requirements, and development. The Implementer focuses on implementing BIM technology and ensuring its proper use. The Coordinator oversees the overall coordination of BIM-related activities .
Sample responsibilities for a BIM Coordinator position may include:
Planning and implementing BIM technology in projects.
Coordinating with project teams and management for BIM implementation.
Providing technical support and training to project teams.
Analyzing project requirements and developing BIM strategies .
