Summary


To Communication Specialist will design all Community and Corporate Services announcements and materials as well as following all NEOM brand and marketing guidelines.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities


Key Responsibilities


  • Design Community & Corporate Services daily announcements, CS web pages, brochures, infographics, logos, signs, books, magazine covers, annual reports, advertisements, and other communication materials.
  • Collaborate with marketing and media to produce copy for advertisements or articles.
  • Assist in communication of Community or messages from community to residents.
  • Draft media statements, answer media inquiries, compile publications, plan events and announcement.
  • Responsible for internal and external communications (including main website content and social marketing), media relations and events support.
  • Support and evaluate results of communication campaigns with the community team.
  • Develop and maintain NEOM brand identities which involves creating or adapting visual elements such as logos, colour palettes, typography, and other brand assets to establish a cohesive and recognizable brand image.
  • Retouching and enhancing images, adjusting colours, removing backgrounds, or combining multiple elements to create a seamless visual result.
  • Meet with Community & Corporate services leads to gain an understanding of what they want their proposed communications to look like. Create or incorporate illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communications.
  • Produce drafts for review by the engagement team and make revisions based on the feedback received.
  • Presenting design concepts for community facilities, explaining design choices, and effectively communicating with clients or stakeholders to address their needs and concerns.
  • Review final productions for errors and ensure that final prints reflect Community & Corporate Services specifications.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience


  • Experience in web design and content production.
  • Proven social media and networking expertise.
  • Professional in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Adobe Freehand, and Adobe After Effects.
  • Experience with Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Visio, Art Pro, Corel and CorelDraw Graphic Suite, and Apple Final Cut Pro.
  • Experience with web content creation and all other graphic design projects.
  • Experience identifying and building relationships with individuals and groups who are impacted by a project.
  • Ability to work well with individuals from a variety of different backgrounds and experience, including community leaders, residents, service providers, local officials, and elected representatives.
  • Ability to facilitate public meetings, present information to the public and create content for diverse audiences.
  • Experienced user of software packages including MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Office. 
  • Excellent communication skills enough to express ideas and agreements concisely and persuasively, both orally and in writing, to a variety of constituencies.
  • Demonstrated integrity, dependability, sound judgment, teambuilding, and resourcefulness to establish and maintain collaborative, positive, and effective working relationships with multiple and diverse constituency groups.
  • Exceptional attention to details

Qualifications


  • College Degree in graphic designing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of in the areas of multimedia and communications.
  • Relevant certifications/credentials to display professionalism in the field.
