Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs his/her duties and tasks as per Hospital Policy and Agreement tin Professional Code of Conduct.
- Actively participates in all quality and performance improvement activities within the department/service and within the hospital as per Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Plan.
- Actively participates in all the education requirement and activities as per the hospital Education Program.
- Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within these cope of’ practice and employment contract
- Develop standard operating procedures and tools for data collection, data cleaning. data handling. analysis, reporting and archiving for effective data management.
- Design, develop, and modify data management infrastructure to expedite data analysis and reporting.
- Provide technical oversight for integrating new technology or nay initiatives into data standards and structures.
- Provide guidance in identifying and defining data requirements.
- Ensure the integrity,confidentiality and security of all datasets.
- Implement effective procedures related to the secure and efficient handling. processing and sharing of data.
- Always ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data.
- Ensure data management procedures and projects have set timelines and meet established deadlines.
- Monitor and analyze information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies. upgrades etc.).
- Assistwith reportsanddataextractionwhenneeded.
- Participate in the preparation and presentation of data, w hen applicable
- Reviewpresentations,manuscript,tablesandgraphstoraccuracyanddataquality.
- Maintain internal data asset library.
- Train concerned staff or the collection of accurate data.
- Analyze and interpret large amounts of data.
- Identify patterns, relationships. and problems in data and statistical sets.
- Determinelimitationsindatareliabilityandusability.
- Extract pertinent data and build detailed reports for data sharing with upper management and external stakeholders
- Ensure digital databases and archives are protected from security breaches and data losses
