Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads a team of lubrication technicians to ensure effective and efficient lubrication practices
- Develops and implements lubrication programs and procedures
- Oversees the planning and scheduling of lubrication activities
- Ensures that lubricants are compatible with the machine, process fluids, and work environment
- Maintains an inventory of lubricants and related supplies
- Tracks and monitors lubricant consumption and identifies opportunities for improvement
- Coordinates with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of lubricants and lubrication equipment
- Utilizes lubrication management software (e.g. SAP) to track and manage lubrication activities
- Ensures compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Conducts training and provides guidance to lubrication technicians
- Performs lubrication tasks and inspections as needed
- Collaborates with maintenance and operations teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability
