Job Description

Responsible for carrying out diagnosis, maintenance and repairs/troubleshooting of all types of mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel-powered equipment.


Your Responsibilities


  • Take job orders, plan and schedule, and carry out preventive maintenance
  • Check, repair and maintain mechanical equipment
  • Carry out new mechanical installation as per customer requirement
  • Assist with the moving, installation, repositioning of machines and equipment
  • Identify and escalate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage
  • Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to management
  • Ensure all work is undertaken to a high quality standard and adhere to all quality standard regulations
  • Maintain records and files, and prepare reports


Skills

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma as Mechanical Technician
  • Relevant certifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience

Your Proficiencies

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills
