Job Description

  • Assist in developing an insurance department by develop detailed insurance frameworks, General Instructions, and Administrative Procedures to effectively manage the insurance department. Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Analyze real estate projects, assess insurance needs (property, construction, liability etc.), work with underwriters / brokers to secure the best coverage.
  • Ability to closely work with brokers, negotiate favorable terms, and develop customized insurance solutions for the company.
  • Handle insurance claims related to property, business interruption, and liability incidents. Investigate claims, negotiate settlements, and liaise with insurance companies and brokers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Managing and processing insurance claims, including investigating claims, assessing damages, and negotiating settlements.
  • Researching market trends and identifying emerging business opportunities.
  • Prospecting for new clients through cold calling, networking, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Conducting client satisfaction surveys and implementing strategies to improve customer retention rates.

Skills

Experience and Qualification

  • Proven record of at least 20 years in the insurance industry with a focus on Real Estate having hands-on experience in policy-making, claims handling, with a strong academic experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess and quantify real estate risks.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including underwriters, brokers, and insurance companies.
