ROLES AND RESPONSABILITIES:
Operational:
·Support the Operations Director with the planning, execution, coordination, and oversight of all assigned rig operations activities to ensure seamless and uninterrupted drilling operations for SANAD.
Monitors performance against client KPIs and identifies improvement actions, as needed. These KPIs shall include but not limited to Rig Move times, Net Rig Move Margin, RIH Casing speed, Tripping speed, connection times, BOP nipple up/down, Pressure Test times.
Follows up on the closure of improvement actions with the relevant Rigs.
Ensures the Rig specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are up to date and that relevant, specific and adequate JSA’s are generated and available for all applicable SOPs.
Monitors Rig Operational Downtime events for reporting compliance and corrective /preventive actions. Prepares Downtime analysis reports to Operations Director for regular reviews
Prepares lessons learned from Rig Operational Downtime and distributes to all relevant parties.
Prepare campaigns for drilling best practices observed on SANAD rigs.
Ensures the Rig specific Rig Move Procedure is up to date and endorsed by OEM. Coordinates with the Engineering Dept. to liaise with the OEM for any relevant modification or update of the Rig Down/Up steps and operational sequence.
Participates in the Pre-Move meetings for the Rigs of his/her assigned Department and ensures there is a proper plan in place for any scheduled or necessary maintenance, modification, equipment replacement, etc, with a clear objective to minimize impact on Rig Move performance.
· Assists the Operations Director and the relevant Operations Superintendent in prompt conflict resolution that may delay the billing of operations invoices or any service invoice on a monthly basis.
Maintenance & Projects:
·Support the Operations Director with the planning, execution, coordination, and oversight of all planned maintenance activities to adhere to the yearly Planned Maintenance Days and Budget.
·Promotes coordination between Operations and the various Support Departments such as Assets, Maintenance, Workshop, Projects, Supply Chain, HSE, etc to adequately plan the Maintenance projects during the year.
·Ensures the “Master Project Plan” is generated with sufficient time to include all the necessary scope of work and to allow for the timely sourcing of all required materials, spare parts and resources to complete the entire scope of work.
·Assists the Operations Director and the respective Operations Superintendent with the tracking of execution progress and budget utilization / cost allocation for the Maintenance projects.
· Follows up with Operations and the relevant support departments to ensure the respective “Management of Change” is promptly generated to track any technical modification or equipment replacement in line with Customer’s requirements.
QHSE:
·Assists the Operations Director and the relevant Operations Superintendent in the implementation of new Contractual requirements such as SWIM, Well Control Manual, etc.
·Actively participates in the various HSE programs and initiatives with commitment to improve the Safety performance of the assigned department (Stop Work Authority, Safety Observations, Rig visits, engagement with the crews, Rig visit reports, Rig move visit reports, etc).
·Assists the Operations Director and the relevant Operations Superintendent in the implementation of new Contractual requirements such as SWIM, Well Control Manual, etc.
·Monitors the timely closure of Open Actions in Aramco’s SLS, SANAD’s Action Logs and any action arising from any Audit or Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis. Coordinates with relevant support functions to assist in closing these actions as necessary.
·Provides assistance to SANAD’s other business units on issues pertinent to job function; participate in performing routine checks and inspections to ensure the highest safety and quality standards are being maintained if required
· Take care of health, safety and environmental impact both personally, and for others who may be affected in the workplace. Cooperate with the Company and co-workers to help everyone meet their legal and company requirements.
Other:
·Adapt to, and participate in, any programs/changes in SANAD including but not limited to strategic initiatives, operational initiatives and performance uplift tasks; conduct any relevant work that may result from these changes as an integral part of this job description and employment contract
·Perform any other activity as required by the company both at the company premises and remotely when requested by the company
·Proactively seek out information that is relevant to job role whether internally or externally to efficiently and effectively deliver. Remain up to date with context of the Company and the role within it to provide insight on potential opportunities and/or challenges

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge and Experience
·Minimum 3 years experience in Field/Rig operations following the Competency Assessment Management Program or equivalent.
·Has completed at least 1 Year as part of a support role at the HQ either in RTOC, Operations Performance, Commercial Dept, etc.
Education and Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent.
