Job Description

As a QA Financial Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of financial systems and processes. You will work closely with the finance team to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for testing and validating financial data, and providing recommendations for improvement. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as attention to detail and the ability to work independently.


Responsibilities:

  1. Perform quality assurance testing on financial systems and processes
  2. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in financial data
  3. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  4. Validate and reconcile financial data
  5. Provide recommendations for process improvement
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions
  7. Create and maintain documentation of testing processes and results
  8. Participate in user acceptance testing and provide feedback
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial quality assurance
  10. Support the finance team in ad-hoc projects and initiatives


Skills

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  2. Minimum 1-5 years of experience in financial quality assurance or a similar role
  3. Strong knowledge of financial systems and processes
  4. Experience with regulatory compliance in the financial industry
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Attention to detail and accuracy
  7. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  9. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  11. Financial analysis
