Job Description

Job Summary


The Director of Sales manages and oversees key sales functions, such as, the customer support team, the sales management team, the key account management team, and the sales support team. The Director of Sales ensures that all these departments work effectively and harmoniously to ensure the sales force productivity level stays high.


In this position the Director of Sales coordinates sales forecasting, budgeting, planning, and process optimization. The Director of Sales monitors and endeavors to maintain high levels of accuracy, quality, and process consistency in the sales force initiatives.  


About the Role:


His leadership position is inclusive of planning, quota setting, reporting, management, sales process optimization, sales training, sales job design, sales program implementation, identification and recruitment of sales force talents, and administration. The Director of Sales is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the assigned teams within the sales department and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.


 Main Responsibilities:


  • Lead and motivate staff to improve customer service with clients.
  • Design and implement strategic plans to reach sales targets.
  • Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty.
  • Develop and promote weekly, monthly and quarterly sales objectives.
  • Draft detailed and accurate sales reports.
  • Sells products by implementing national sales plans.
  • Supervises regional sales managers.
  • Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results.
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories and projecting expected sales volumes and profit for existing and new products.
  • Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
  • Maintains sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply and demand.
  • Completes national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
  • Maintains national staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees.
  • Plans, monitors, and appraises job results.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results.
  • Work with customers to better understand their business needs and goals.
  • Assess costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices.
  • Estimate sales volume and profit for current and new products.
  • Establish a sales training program to train new employees.
  • Meet with sales managers to assess company performance.
  • Participation in the shows and conference in/out KSA.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education & Experience


  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in marketing, business administration or a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 year’s experience in a similar role.
  • Electrical Engineering Background.
  • Candidates must have Experience handling big Projects.
