Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant Receivable to join our team in Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in accounts receivable management and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. As a Senior Accountant Receivable, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and managing customer relationships. You will also be responsible for monitoring and analyzing accounts receivable aging reports, resolving outstanding payment issues, and implementing effective collection strategies. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be highly organized, and have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee the accounts receivable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, credit memos, and adjustments
  2. Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports, identifying and resolving outstanding payment issues
  3. Implement effective collection strategies to reduce outstanding receivables and minimize bad debt risk
  4. Review and reconcile customer accounts, resolving any discrepancies and ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  5. Communicate with customers to resolve payment issues, answer inquiries, and provide necessary documentation or information
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely billing, resolve billing discrepancies, and improve overall process efficiency
  7. Prepare and analyze financial reports related to accounts receivable, including aging reports, collection forecasts, and cash flow projections
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting standards and regulations
  9. Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in accounting regulations, making recommendations for process improvements and implementing necessary changes

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounts receivable management
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  6. Nationality: Indian
  7. Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  9. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
  10. Experience in the construction industry is a plus
