JOB PURPOSE:
To troubleshoot problems with mechanical equipment and ensure it is functioning properly.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1.Perform all maintenance activities which are related to all electromechanical and electrical equipment. Including troubleshooting, dismantle, repair, testing and assemble.
2.Perform a wide variety of technical tasks in support of processes and machines improvement, associated engineering, quality controls, calibration, production/test environment, and field related operations.
3.Perform tasks related to Preventive, predictive and Corrective Maintenance without direct supervision.
4.Must have experience with production lines and industrial equipment.
5.Must have deep understanding on the Fundamentals of PLC both software and hardware.
6.Must have understanding of a Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
7.Must have programming skills with different PLC Programming language and knowledge on control networks.
8.Must have Ability to troubleshoot complex issues on different type of Industrial Control systems. PLC, HMI, VFD, Servo drives, Motors etc.
9.Must have ability of reading and understanding electrical and instrumentation control system diagrams (control panel wiring diagrams, loop drawings, panel layout drawings and P & I diagram).
10.Preferably having an understanding of the basics of Mechanical systems.
11.Able to Troubleshoot the faults individually.
12.Able to participate with the team and supervisors in Root cause analysis and improvement proposals.
13.Able to update and record all maintenance activities, estimation and durations through CMMS.
14.Able to follow all maintenance plans in holidays and weekends when needed.
15.Able to work at nightshift and conduct all emergency maintenance when needed.
Educational
Diploma in Automation, Electrical , Electronic or similar, Preferred bachelor’s degree in courses covering Process Automation and Control Engineering are typically required.
Experience
6-10 + years of experience in the last 5 years same field as Senior automation technician in FMCG multinational company, or solid experience and excellent track records that are filled with achievements.
