Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Spare Parts Officer to join our team. The Spare Parts Officer will be responsible for managing the inventory of spare parts and ensuring that the company has an adequate supply to meet the needs of our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the inventory of spare parts, including tracking stock levels, ordering new parts, and organizing storage
- Ensure that all spare parts are properly labeled and stored in a safe manner
- Coordinate with suppliers to source and procure spare parts in a timely manner
- Conduct regular audits of the spare parts inventory to identify any discrepancies or shortages
- Work closely with the maintenance team to understand their needs and requirements for spare parts
- Develop and implement processes to streamline the spare parts management system
- Assist in the preparation of reports on spare parts usage and inventory levels
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to spare parts management
Skills
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience working in spare parts management or a similar role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems
