Job Description: UPS Service Engineer

Position Overview:

As a UPS Service Engineer, you will be responsible for achieving service targets set by the company, coordinating installations of electrical systems and equipment, and performing routine maintenance and repairs of UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems and related power electronics equipment. This role requires a strong technical background in electrical/electronics systems and the ability to interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.

Main Responsibilities:

• Achieve service targets set by the company for UPS systems and related equipment.
  
• Coordinate installations of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
  
• Perform planning of routine maintenance and repairs of UPS systems and associated components.
  
• Plan electrical and electronic troubleshooting activities and handle service tickets efficiently.
  
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to diagnose effectively and resolve technical issues.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards while performing maintenance and repair activities.
  
  

Requirements

• Diploma/BE/BTech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
  
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the UPS Systems or Power Electronics industry.
  
• Proficiency in handling UPS systems, battery chargers, telecom rectifiers, battery systems, and automatic power factor correction panels.
  
• Strong understanding of electrical/electronic principles and components.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
