Warehouse Manager - Food & Beverage is responsible for overseeing all warehouse and inventory operations for food, beverage, packaging, and consumable items. The role ensures efficient receiving, storage, inventory control, stock rotation, and distribution while maintaining food safety standards, product quality, and regulatory compliance. The Warehouse Manager plays a key role in supporting restaurant, central kitchen, catering, and retail operations by ensuring uninterrupted product availability and inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations

• Manage daily warehouse activities, including receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of food and beverage products.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of dry, chilled, and frozen products according to food safety standards.
• Maintain optimal warehouse layout and storage conditions to maximize efficiency and product integrity.
• Monitor warehouse productivity and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure timely replenishment and distribution of products to restaurants, central kitchens, stores, and other operational units.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels through ERP and inventory management systems.
• Monitor stock movement and inventory turnover to prevent overstocking and stock shortages.
• Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory practices.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and monthly inventory audits.
• Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor expiry dates and minimize product wastage.

Food Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP standards, and company quality requirements.
• Maintain proper temperature controls for chilled and frozen storage areas.
• Ensure warehouse sanitation, cleanliness, and pest control standards are consistently maintained.
• Coordinate product recalls and quality control procedures when required.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) regulations and local health authority requirements.

Team Leadership

• Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse supervisors, storekeepers, inventory controllers, and warehouse staff.
• Establish clear performance objectives and conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Train employees on warehouse procedures, food safety standards, inventory management, and workplace safety.
• Manage workforce planning, shift scheduling, and labor productivity.

Logistics & Distribution

• Coordinate inbound deliveries from suppliers and outbound distribution to restaurants, branches, and central kitchens.
• Ensure accurate documentation and traceability of all inventory movements.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and operations teams to forecast inventory requirements.
• Optimize transportation and warehouse processes to improve service levels and reduce costs.

Health & Safety

• Enforce workplace health and safety regulations throughout warehouse operations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Ensure proper use of warehouse equipment, forklifts, and material handling tools.
• Investigate accidents and implement preventive measures.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and warehouse performance reports.
• Analyze inventory trends, stock aging, wastage, and operational efficiencies.
• Monitor and report key warehouse KPIs to senior management.
• Support budgeting and cost-control initiatives within the warehouse function.
