I believe that the most important skill has to be related to knowing exactly what you are selling (any marketer knows that). So, when it comes to the field of applications, whoever is selling must at least have basic knowledge in programming (language, the program used to write the code : native or not native, a minimum knowledge of apps). I believe the ideal candidate must be as any marketer or sales with an experience in programming. He/She must be presentable, strong personality, knowledge in programming, fluency in languages, and persuasive.
