Can good performance and high responsibility compensate bad discipline?

<p>Suppose you an employee who performs well, does everything required for his job, finishes has daily task..., but he is never committed to the working hours (for example). Sometime he comes early, sometimes late. Sometimes he leaves early, some times he stays late in the evening. But all of that doesn't affect his work. Will you, as a manager, tolerate that?</p>
