1. Be a good listener. Listen to their pain points, problems, concerns. It's ok, if you don't act on it, but listening also makes the person feels good.
2. Conduct regular review meetings. Even if there is nothing important to discuss, the 5-min review meeting should happen. It builds rapo, and keeps both (the manager and the reportee) on the same page.
3. Identify potential and conduct trainings for them
4. Stand for them whenever needed.

Providing personal supprt: Help team members to value themselves and their work so that they can develop a sense of self-worth

Team work: Encourage team members to establish close, collabarative, succesfull working relationships with one another.

Focus on the goal: Inspiring the team to feel enthusiastic about and committed to shared goals and motivating them to want to perform well.
