Job Description

  • Receiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good quality.
  • Communicating with the Chef de partie and preparing the required sauces and salads.
  • Interacting and informing the supervisor about the current condition of the inventory and if additional restaurant supplies are required.
  • Verifying the ingredients for preparations, interacting with senior officials, and performing necessary duties to ensure customer satisfaction.

Skills

  • The ability to work under pressure.
  • Basic academic qualifications, including a degree, in culinary arts, to become a Commis Chef.
  • Appropriate knowledge in maintaining food health and safety rules for any restaurant or kitchen setting.
  • Commercial kitchen experience in meal preparation and ingredients selection.
