Job Description

Business Development Manager is a professional who is primarily responsible for

managing and overseeing the sales and management of sponsorships offerings of

Entrepreneur Media to clients through advertising (print and digital), content solutions,

event sponsorship, and Special Report sponsorships packages.


Key responsibilities:


  • Sales and Business Development: The Partnership Specialist is tasked with identifying potential clients and partners (from both public and private sectors) to come on-board as sponsors for the Special Report and exclusive videos produced by Entrepreneur Media. They develop sales strategies, pitch the benefits of the partnerships, and negotiate deals to bring-in new partners and to on-board clients. The Partnership Specialist will also offer content solutions to clients as well as offering sponsorship opportunities across the various events (awards ceremonies and forums) hosted by Entrepreneur Media.


  • Customer Relationship Management: Once partnership agreements are inked, the Partnership Specialist manages the ongoing relationship with these partners. They ensure that partners are receiving the value they expected and address any concerns or issues that may arise.


  • Retention and Renewals: Partnership Specialist will work on strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and encourage renewals and offer new solutions.


  • Collaboration: The Partnership Specialist will often collaborate with marketing, customer support, and product development teams to align value offerings with market demands and customer preferences. Market Research: Staying aware of market trends, competitive offerings, and customer preferences is crucial. The Partnership Specialist will engage in market research to ensure that Entrepreneur Media’s products remain relevant and attractive.


  • Budgeting and Revenue Forecasting: Partnership Specialist will contribute to budgeting processes and revenue forecasting by providing insights into expected partnership revenues and growth rates.


Knowledge/experience:

  • Passionate about media sales and media solutions, business development and/or digital marketing
  • Great understanding of business-news and streaming platforms
  • Understanding of the media landscape in the region
  • Great presentational skills including MS PowerPoint, Canva and Excel
