JOB SUMMARY
The Business Development Manager is responsible for expanding Unifieicrosystems’ market presence across the UAE by building strong professional relationships, identifying business opportunities, and developing strategic partnerships.
The role focuses on relationship-led and consultative business development within the commercial real estate, workplace, office fit-out, construction, and related industries. The Business Development Manager will engage with consultants, project managers, architects, interior designers, fit-out contractors, landlords, tenants, developers, property professionals, and corporate decision-makers to identify potential projects at an early stage.
WORK OVERVIEW·Relationship Building and Market Development
- Build and maintain relationships with commercial
real estate professionals, workplace consultants, project managers, architects,
interior designers, fit-out contractors, developers, landlords, tenants,
property managers, and corporate decision-makers.
- Establish Unified Microsystems as a trusted and
recognised partner within the UAE commercial office, workplace, fit-out, and
construction communities.
- Maintain regular communication with existing
clients, prospective clients, industry contacts, and referral partners.
- Develop strategic partnerships with consultants,
contractors, furniture suppliers, designers, property professionals, and other
businesses that may generate referrals or collaborative opportunities.
- Represent the Company professionally in all
client meetings, networking activities, and industry engagements.
·Business Development and Opportunity Generation
- Identify upcoming office relocations,
refurbishments, fit-out projects, workplace transformations, construction
projects, and technology requirements.
- Generate qualified leads and business
opportunities for the Company’s technology, IT infrastructure, security,
audio-visual, managed services, and workplace solutions teams.
- Engage prospective clients using a needs-based
and consultative approach.
- Understand client requirements and coordinate
with the Company’s technical, engineering, and design teams to develop
appropriate solutions.
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of
business opportunities that may lead to proposals, tenders, repeat business,
and referrals.
- Monitor market developments and identify
emerging opportunities, potential partnerships, and relevant industry trends.
·Networking and Brand Representation
- Attend business networking events, industry
exhibitions, business breakfasts, conferences, property launches, trade events,
and relevant social functions.
- Actively participate in industry associations,
business networking groups, and professional communities.
- Build a strong professional network across the
UAE and serve as a credible representative of Unified Microsystems.
- Support the Company’s efforts to strengthen its
visibility and reputation in the market.
·Pipeline and Activity Management
- Record leads, contacts, opportunities, meetings,
follow-ups, and other relevant activities accurately in the Company’s Customer
Relationship Management (CRM) platform.
- Maintain an organized pipeline and conduct
timely follow-ups with clients and business contacts.
- Submit regular reports on networking activities,
leads generated, business opportunities, partnerships, and pipeline status.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that
opportunities are properly endorsed, monitored, and progressed.
Perform other related duties that may reasonably
be assigned by Management.

- A valid UAE driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred, given the client-facing and networking requirements of the role.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, Communications, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant experience in business development, sales, account management, relationship management, networking, or a similar client-facing role is preferred.
- Existing professional connections within the UAE business community are an advantage.
