We are looking for a talented and experienced Design Manager – Interior fit out to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior fit out and will be responsible for leading the design team, managing projects, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality designs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the design team, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects
- Oversee the design process from concept development to final delivery, ensuring that all designs meet the client's requirements and industry standards
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the design and construction process
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that timelines and budgets are met
- Stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, and technologies to ensure that our designs remain innovative and competitive in the market
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design reviews to gather feedback and ensure client satisfaction
- Contribute to the development and improvement of design processes, standards, and best practices within the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Proven experience in interior fit out projects, with a minimum of 15 years in a design management role.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a design team
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality designs
