This is a hands on Security Engineer role, focused on building and integrating security controls across AWS, applications and delivery pipelines. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure systems are secure by design, with a strong emphasis on automation, practical implementation, and continuous improvement.

Implement security controls across cloud infrastructure, including identity, network security, encryption, and loggingEmbed security into CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps tooling (SAST, SCA, secrets scanning, IaC scanning)Build and manage secure infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principlesSecure containerised environments and Kubernetes workloads, including runtime and image controlsSupport vulnerability management across the SDLC, identifying and driving remediationContribute to incident response, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventative measuresDevelop and improve monitoring and alerting across systems (SIEM, logging, detection pipelines)Work with engineering teams to improve secure coding practices and reduce risk in production


Profile
3-6 years of experience in security engineering, DevSecOps, or application securityHands on experience with CI/CD pipelines and embedding security into software deliveryExperience using Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code toolsGood understanding of cloud and network security (AWS preferred)Exposure to container and Kubernetes securityPractical knowledge of OWASP and application security fundamentalsExperience with vulnerability management and security toolingComfortable scripting or automating tasksA practical, engineering led mindset - focused on building and implementing
