Job Description

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

  • Produce and maintain the Project Master Schedule, incorporating all current information and progress updates.
  • Cost load the Master Schedule in line with the Contract Cost Plan; prepare and submit Cash Flow forecasts; review the Contractors approved cashflow and advise any necessary adjustments.
  • Monitor progress against interim payment, identifying those elements of work that are in advance or delay the baseline cash flow estimate.
  • Review/comment on Contractor / Consultant Baseline Schedules and other schedules and report to the Controls Manager.
  • Review and continuously monitor, against approved schedules, the Contractor's major construction progress and ensure equipment and manpower are adequate or, in case of any shortage, report to the Controls Manager.
  • Review the recovery schedules in detail as submitted by the CONTRACTORS and ensure manpower and site supervision staff are correctly increased.
  • Regular visits to project sites to validate whether the work progress on SITE complies with approved schedules, progress reports, and major milestones have been met and report deficiencies to the Construction Manager.
  • Review all daily, weekly, and monthly reports submitted by the CONTRACTOR and report any deficiency or non-compliance to the Controls Manager.
  • Review any claim involving time impact submitted by the CONTRACTOR and report his assessment to the Controls Manager.
  • Review field design changes and Trend Notices and assess time impact, if any.
  • Advise the Construction Manager of any foreseen slippage of progress and corrective actions to be taken.
  • Attend weekly progress meetings and monthly Executive meetings and participate in preparing the agenda.
  • Assist Controls Managers in preparing Monthly Progress reports and Monthly Executive Presentations.
  • Reviews the commissioning plans submitted by the CONTRACTOR and ensure their compliance with the approved Baseline schedule.
  • Participate with PMC staff in reviewing the Close-Out Reports submitted by the CONTRACTOR.
