Junior Sushi Chef - Riyadh

On behalf of an award-winning Asian restaurant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia we are looking for a dynamic and talented Junior Sushi Chef to join an amazing team.

• Ensure the highest food quality appropriate to the market by assisting the chefs in all areas of sushi bar/kitchen operations.
• Prepare and correctly garnish all food orders as they are received according to menu specifications.
• Prepare all kitchen dishes; control the positioning and rotation of foods and ensure proper plate presentation.
• Adhere to standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation.
• Ensure the proper set-up of each item on the menus and their readiness.
• Store unused food properly to minimize waste and maximize quality.
• Assist Chefs in checking and ordering fresh products and dry storage items required by the Sushi/Kitchen section.
• Ensure readiness and make priorities in case of last-minute changes to reservations.
• Adheres to all health, sanitation, and food safety rules and regulations.
• Set up for service by ensuring proper amounts are in place for forecasted covers, special functions and all reservations.
• Ensure that all food from all sections is delivered on time.
• Carry out any other duties as directed by senior chefs.
• Ensure that the food prepared in the restaurant kitchen is the standard that the exe chef has set.
