Martin cooper, indeed is called the father of the cell phone which was known to be the one to make a handheld cell phone call in public. In terms with the one who invented it, i believe that he led a team to develop it but is not the lone one who personally made it. Nevertheless, he still pioneered and envisioned it so I consider him to be renowned as the inventor of mobile phones.

The computer was conceptualized by the the father of computers - Charles Babbage in 1822 was also the one who developed the Difference Engine which is the first automatic computing machine. The development of this device was aided by Ada Lovelace - the first programmer. Due to this, emergence of different computing machines started.

There is no single soul which invented anything. The mobile phone or the computer is a result of knowledge accumulating for ages. You have only repeat what sir Isaac newton said " He stands on the shoulders of giants that went before him" . You have to check who invented the processor, you have to check who invented the camera, the list goes on and on. If you look at  these things from a scientific point of view you will realize that no one invented anything really.
