The Function | Accountabilities
We are looking for a highly motivated, knowledgeable logistics team leader to join our order fulfilment team. The
Logistics Team Leader plays a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of the logistics team to
ensure efficient and effective operations. This position requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of
logistics processes, and the ability to collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve
organizational goals. The Logistics Team Leader is responsible for guiding and motivating team members, optimizing
workflows, and maintaining high standards of performance and productivity.

• Lead and supervise a team of logistics coordinators and warehouse staff, providing guidance, support, and
mentorship to ensure the achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
• Coordinate and prioritize daily tasks and assignments for team members, ensuring that all activities are
completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures and timelines.
• Monitor and assess team performance, productivity, and quality of work, providing feedback and coaching as
needed to address performance issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing, production, sales, and customer service, to
coordinate logistics activities and ensure alignment with business needs and priorities.
• Oversee inventory management processes, including receiving, storing, and picking orders, to maintain
accurate inventory levels and minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards governing logistics operations, including
proper handling, storage, and transportation of goods.
• Implement and enforce best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality control measures to
optimize logistics workflows and minimize errors and inefficiencies.
• Coordinate transportation arrangements and logistics service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective
delivery of goods to customers and distribution centers.
• Maintain good relationship with NUPCO and other key government customers for all delivery co-ordination
and appointments. Works closely with NUPCO team to receive appointments and delivery acceptance
documents.
• Maintain good communication with key clinical, healthcare and university customer accounts for all
delivery coordination of customer purchase orders.
• Ensure appropriate documentation and maintain accurate inventory/delivery transactions.
• Analyze logistics data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for
improvement, and develop action plans to address them.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the logistics team, promoting teamwork, open
communication, and a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Ensure customer delight for all the delivery transactions

We are looking for a professional with strong knowledge on logistics coordination who is willing to develop his/her

Proven experience in logistics coordination or supervision, with a strong understanding of logistics processes
and industry best practices.

• Proficiency with oral and written communication in Arabic and English.
• Proficiency in logistics software and systems, such as warehouse management systems (WMS) and
transportation management systems (TMS).
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements governing logistics operations, including
health and safety standards.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement solutions
to improve logistics performance.
• Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing business needs and priorities.
