Job Description

Reports To: General Manager

 

Job Summary: As Accounts Manager, you will part of the executive team. a reliable Accounts Manager that will analyses everyday financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to CEO and GM on future financial plans. The goal is to enable the company’s leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the company’s objectives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in financial analysis and strategic planning. By analyzing day-to-day financial activities with precision, you will provide valuable insights and recommendations to CEO and GM. Your guidance will empower the company’s leaders to make informed decisions that align with the organization’s long-term goals. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing financial plans that support the company’s growth and profitability. Monitoring financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and capitalizing on opportunities will be integral parts of your responsibilities.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·        Financial Planning and Strategy: Develop financial strategies and plans in alignment with the club's long-term goals and objectives. Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and GM

·        Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with GM to develop comprehensive budgets that support operational needs and strategic initiatives. Monitor performance against budget and provide regular forecasts to support decision-making.

·        Membership Revenue Management: Work with membership manager on membership fee structures, dues collection, and revenue streams. Analyze membership trends and develop strategies to optimize revenue generation while enhancing member satisfaction and retention.

·        Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and metrics for presentation to the CEO and GM. Ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

·        Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow and liquidity to meet operational needs, including monitoring cash reserves, optimizing working capital, and managing banking relationships.

·        Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses across all departments, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Review and approve expenditures in accordance with budgetary guidelines and policies.

·        Audit and Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. Implement recommendations for process improvements and risk mitigation.

·        Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor finance staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support to department heads and staff on financial matters
